About the role

  • Lead Engineer managing Instrumentation and Controls projects for oil and gas facilities. Collaborating with project teams and mentoring engineers while ensuring design standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in the design of new upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities
  • Develop P&ID, I/O Lists, Control Panel Design, C&E development
  • Participate in Process Hazard Analysis and Design Reviews
  • Work with client representative for Instrumentation and Controls design
  • Mentor and train less experienced engineers
  • Perform independent reviews of work

Requirements

  • A BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
  • 15+ years of relevant oil and gas or industrial experience
  • 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Valued, but Not Required: P.Eng license
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with SCADA and Radio Networks
