About the role
- Lead Engineer managing Instrumentation and Controls projects for oil and gas facilities. Collaborating with project teams and mentoring engineers while ensuring design standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in the design of new upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities
- Develop P&ID, I/O Lists, Control Panel Design, C&E development
- Participate in Process Hazard Analysis and Design Reviews
- Work with client representative for Instrumentation and Controls design
- Mentor and train less experienced engineers
- Perform independent reviews of work
Requirements
- A BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
- 15+ years of relevant oil and gas or industrial experience
- 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Valued, but Not Required: P.Eng license
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with SCADA and Radio Networks
