About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct and supervise forest inventories and field surveys in accordance with applicable standards
- Validate, analyze, and structure collected data
- Perform digitization (vectorization) and geospatial data processing in GIS environments (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Prepare technical reports, produce maps, and perform analyses that meet contractual requirements
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and the quality of deliverables
- Participate in the planning and organization of project activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies
- Provide high-quality professional services to TEHORA clients, including public-sector mandates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in forest engineering or a related field
- Active, in-good-standing member of the Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec (OIFQ), mandatory
- Professional proficiency with GIS tools, including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS
- Excellent writing skills for the preparation of technical documents
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Meticulous, well organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Availability for occasional travel as required by operational needs
- Remote work available anywhere in Quebec
