About the role

  • Permit Administrator supporting a transformative transit infrastructure project with administrative coordination and documentation management. Collaborating in a high-performing project team to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the permit approval process through tracking and administrative coordination
  • Monitor permit statuses and identify gaps, as necessary
  • Update and maintain permit documentation such as applications and closed packages
  • Manage training materials and attendance records for permit training
  • Coordinate submissions of required safety documentation with permit packages
  • Serve as the administrative point of contact for permit documentation, submissions, reporting, and KPIs
  • Assist with Access Card System through development of reports and monitoring compliance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of related experience in a large construction or industrial project office environment
  • Permitting administrative experience in a fast-paced project and/or technical industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and managing high volume of requests
  • Flexible in handling work requirements and able to prioritize
  • Detail oriented and ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced project environment
