Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Engineering Manager to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables
Assist the Project Engineering Manager in overseeing all the Project Coordinators
Support the engineering project lifecycle by tracking design progress
Assist in the development and monitoring of the Project Design Execution Plan
Promote and reinforce safety considerations throughout technical delivery
Prepare monthly project reports to the Engineering Management Director
Facilitate the application of industry best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate and participate in regular reviews and quality assessments of engineering deliverables
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
5–8 years of relevant experience
3+ years supporting multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design, and delivery phases
Registered Professional Engineer in Canada
Strong coordination and organizational skills
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing resources
Proficient in engineering software and tools relevant to transit infrastructure design
Experience in rail & transit projects, particularly LRT, with knowledge of transit standards and urban integration is an asset
Familiarity with regulatory environments and stakeholder coordination across municipal, provincial, and federal levels
Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
