About the role

  • FP&A Manager leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for Aurora Solar’s solar software business. Owning Pigment and delivering insights that improve efficiency, revenue, and costs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and support strategic discussions with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Provide insights and build trust to influence effective decision-making
  • Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, Board reporting, and BvA reporting
  • Own administration and continued evolution of Pigment, including data model design, system integrations, forecast models, and process streamlining
  • Collaborate with Finance peers to track performance metrics and KPIs, monitor business results, and drive stakeholder engagement and accountability
  • Simplify, streamline, and automate FP&A processes
  • Use forecasting and financial system capabilities to support rapid global scaling
  • Identify strategic opportunities to improve operations, increase revenue, or decrease costs
  • Operate with direct exposure to the VP of Finance and CEO

Requirements

  • Strong financial modeling, including experience building and maintaining driver-based models
  • Experience owning a financial planning tool
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate model output into compelling narrative summaries for leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Ability to prioritize objectives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to follow through
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SaaS business models
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP
  • Direct experience as a Pigment admin is nice to have
  • Experience with usage-based or consumption metrics and modeling is nice to have
  • Experience with data systems and/or Python, SQL, JavaScript is nice to have
  • Executive presence and comfort presenting directly to VP/C-suite stakeholders is nice to have
  • Authorization to work in Canada
  • No current or future sponsorship requirement to work in Canada
