About the role

  • Parts Coordinator responsible for ordering, receiving, and managing parts for vehicle repairs at Aviva AutoCare Centre. Contributing to customer satisfaction through quality control and efficient parts processing.

Responsibilities

  • Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders confirming quality, correctness and quantity of parts received
  • Accurately identify necessary parts to complete repairs in the shop
  • Enter all parts and invoices into the body shop software tool
  • Maintain proper parts inventory levels
  • Monitor workflow of parts department ensuring work is completed
  • Order parts that meet the cost and quality of standards of the automotive parts department, dealership and vehicle manufacturers
  • Source new suppliers that are cost-effective and have quality parts
  • Manage processing and administration of parts back-orders and return-to-vendor items
  • Establish and maintain good customer service relationships and exceed their expectations
  • Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer
  • Maintain a clean and organized area for the automotive parts
  • Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience working in automotive industry
  • Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Commitment to an environment of continuous improvement
  • Effectively manage a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multi-tasking ability while working under pressure
  • Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies
  • Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
  • Proven experience and knowledge with motor vehicle repairs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Genuine curiosity and inquisitive mindset, constantly looking to make things better for customers and colleagues
  • Can work to and positively contribute to our organizational culture and values
