About the role

  • Audit Manager leading public company engagements for Davidson & Company, Canada’s leading independent public auditor. Guiding audit teams, managing clients, and applying IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, and PCAOB standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client engagements from planning through final deliverables.
  • Manage engagements across diverse industries and engagement sizes.
  • Build client relationships through clear communication, practical solutions, and high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Partners on budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Translate complex accounting concepts into client-friendly insights.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire junior and senior team members.
  • Maintain expertise in IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, and PCAOB standards.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency within audit teams.
  • Provide proactive advice and guidance to clients.

Requirements

  • CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
  • 5+ years of public practice audit experience.
  • Solid technical knowledge in IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Leadership, motivation, mentoring, and team-development abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Experience using Caseware and MS Office.
  • Willingness to leverage AI-driven tools and new technologies.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for excellence and growth.
