About the role

  • Audit Manager leading high-profile engagements in public company audit practice at Davidson & Company. Collaborating with clients and guiding junior team members in diverse industries.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of end-to-end client engagements — from planning to final deliverables — across a diverse portfolio of industries and engagement sizes.
  • Build strong client relationships by providing clear communication, practical solutions, and top-tier service.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Partners to manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables with precision.
  • Translate complex accounting concepts into client-friendly insights (because numbers tell stories, too!).
  • Lead, coach, and inspire junior and senior team members — helping them grow while keeping the vibe positive and productive.
  • Stay sharp on all things IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, and PCAOB while driving innovation and efficiency within your teams.
  • Be a trusted go-to for your clients, offering proactive advice and guidance that makes a real difference.

Requirements

  • CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
  • 5+ years of public practice audit experience.
  • Solid technical knowledge in IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
  • A natural communicator who can build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
  • A genuine leader who motivates, mentors, and develops others.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, stay organized, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Experience using Caseware, MS Office, and a willingness to leverage AI-driven tools and new technologies to work smarter.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for excellence and growth.
