About the role

  • Product Research Manager leading AI-enabled UX research at Benevity, whose technology helps companies and employees take social action. Shaping product roadmaps through employee and nonprofit insights.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, standards, and operating rhythm for product research across Benevity
  • Run product research as an active strategic partner across the company
  • Lead the research function and shape and grow the team
  • Participate in steering committees, governance forums, product planning, and prioritization
  • Field and prioritize research requests across client success, marketing, operations, and nonprofit teams
  • Represent employees, nonprofits, and impact leaders to senior leadership
  • Redesign research workflows using AI for synthesis, tagging, and pattern-finding
  • Establish AI usage guardrails and verify outputs
  • Build and manage custom AI skills mapped to the product development lifecycle
  • Define feedback collection methodologies, question design, sampling standards, and consent protocols
  • Own end-to-end Employee (uNPS) and Nonprofit tracking studies
  • Adapt measurement approaches for feeds, chat, email, and QR codes
  • Report behavioral and feedback trends with recommendations
  • Build and manage structured research repositories and connect them to AI workflows
  • Partner with analytics teams to combine behavioral data with qualitative insights
  • Plan, facilitate, and report on the Discovery Lab
  • Coach product managers and designers on research methods and question design

Requirements

  • 10+ years in UX research, product research, or an equivalent discipline, including end-to-end program ownership
  • Track record connecting qualitative and quantitative evidence to decisions shaping product roadmaps
  • Fluency in longitudinal tracking studies, survey design, and qualitative research
  • Comfort participating in steering committees, senior governance forums, and executive prioritization meetings
  • Experience designing intake and prioritization processes for research requests across multidisciplinary teams
  • Facility with modern AI tools and understanding of where they accelerate work and introduce risk
  • Experience coaching non-researchers to conduct sound research safely while maintaining quality standards
  • Self-directed initiative to scope projects and execute autonomously as a practice lead
  • Clear, direct communication across written documents, collaborative workshops, and executive presentations
