About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Partner managing North American recruitment for BMT, an engineering consultancy tackling complex safety and sustainability challenges. Advising hiring managers, sourcing talent, and improving candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop recruitment strategies
  • Screen and assess candidates for qualifications, experience, and organizational fit
  • Coordinate interviews, scheduling, interview guides, and candidate communications
  • Prepare employment offers with People & Culture and hiring managers
  • Maintain recruitment documentation and comply with company policies and employment legislation
  • Support workforce planning, talent needs identification, approved requisitions, and succession planning
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies and maintain passive-candidate and external talent-network relationships
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and internal mobility objectives
  • Advise hiring managers on interview techniques, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and report on hiring activity, timelines, and market insights
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience and promote the employer brand
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and industry forums
  • Maintain ATS records, generate recruitment reports, analyze time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate pipeline activity
  • Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools
  • Perform other duties reasonably required to achieve the role purpose

Requirements

  • Experience and ability commensurate with the role's Talent Acquisition Partner responsibilities
  • Ability to manage full-cycle recruitment processes
  • Ability to develop recruitment strategies and assess candidates
  • Ability to use LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, networking, talent pipelines, and other sourcing tools
  • Ability to maintain accurate recruitment documentation and ATS records
  • Knowledge of recruitment metrics, reporting, and employment legislation compliance
  • Ability to support workforce planning and succession planning
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with People Partners, hiring managers, external recruitment providers, candidates, educational institutions, industry associations, and networking organizations
