- Automation Quality Assurance Analyst performing functional testing for FinTech products. Focused on test case creation, execution, and reporting in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform automation functional testing for a suite of products.
- Focus on understanding testing requirements, test case creation, test execution, and reporting test results.
- Prepare test data, test planning and execution, reporting on testing status.
- Analyze business requirements documents to create QA test plans.
- Review existing test plans and scripts for improvements.
- Create test plans and scripts for new and changed functionality.
- Ensure test data sets are created for QA testing.
- Maintain all manual QA documentation and QC manual test plans.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to ensure consistent testing methodologies.
- Liaise with development and business teams on testing discrepancies identified.
Requirements
- Hands-on working knowledge in software test planning, estimating and test cases creation.
- Experience of and ability to design and execute effective test cases
- Hands on working knowledge of /defect management systems, preferably Quality Center or Jira
- Demonstrable experience with testing mobile products across multiple mobile platforms, particularly iOS, Android, and/or Windows phone.
- Working knowledge of mobile video and audio encoding formats.
- Hands on experience with (technical) troubleshooting of mobile applications.
- Working experience with exploratory and/or usability testing
- Knowledge of the full software development and testing lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of Objective-C, Java, JavaScript, XML, xslt, SQL, relational databases, HTTP HTML, testing of xml or JSON feeds, shell scripting
- ISTQB or ISTQB-Mobile certification.
- Background in Financial Services or FinTech, a plus
- Experience of hands-on testing in Agile development environments
- Working knowledge of automated testing solutions for mobile products.
