About the role

  • Junior RFP Writer supporting IT, security, and compliance proposals at Bulletproof. Tracking opportunities, coordinating stakeholders, and developing polished RFP responses.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the RFP group inbox and external bid portals to identify relevant opportunities
  • Maintain the opportunity tracking system in SharePoint
  • Track deadlines, amendments, and submission requirements, proactively flagging risks
  • Develop and maintain RFP timelines and ensure milestones are met
  • Prepare RFP summaries supporting Go/No-Go decisions
  • Capture and document required intake information
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders during early-stage opportunity review
  • Maintain and update boilerplate content libraries
  • Draft standardized content and response templates
  • Organize and lead RFP development calls with sales, delivery, legal, and other stakeholders
  • Create RFP responses in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other proposal and bid systems
  • Organize and lead debrief calls with prospective clients
  • Support shortlisting requirements, including reviewing PowerPoint organizations and drafting clarification responses
  • Proofread documents for clarity, grammar, formatting, and consistency
  • Manage logins, credentials, and keyword searches for RFP/bid sites
  • Support leadership reporting and tracking
  • Coordinate across sales, legal, finance, and delivery teams
  • Contribute to RFP lifecycle process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in document handling and data entry
  • Ability to quickly assess information and identify relevant opportunities
  • Familiarity with IT or cybersecurity concepts considered an asset
  • Experience in document creation and editing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
