About the role

  • Quality Assurance Team Lead at Case IQ responsible for developing testing strategies and mentoring QA engineers. Overseeing QA processes and driving software excellence for a wide array of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of manual QA engineers to enhance testing strategies.
  • Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting for manual testing.
  • Serve as QA tester for Scrum team
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Development, and DevOps teams to align testing efforts with product requirements and release schedules.
  • Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with test automation team to align on coverage and test design
  • Validate automated tests, execute and monitor automated test runs
  • Lead and implement performance testing
  • Drive Agile testing practices, ensuring seamless integration of QA processes within Agile development cycles to enhance product quality and delivery speed (Fast Tempo, High Quality)
  • Continuously analyze and enhance QA processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Report key quality metrics to leadership and provide insights for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright)
  • Experience with performance testing (JMeter)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD processes.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring rapid development cycles without compromising software excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development and release management processes.
