About the role

  • Product Analyst driving user research, pricing, beta programs, and launches for Canada's audit and accounting software company. Measuring adoption, retention, and revenue impact to guide product growth.

Responsibilities

  • Research target users, behaviors, and unmet needs before product roadmaps are finalized
  • Turn usage data, sales conversations, and support tickets into a clear target-user perspective
  • Define product positioning, value proposition, and timing
  • Make messaging concrete and consistent for sales, support, and leadership
  • Analyze monetization, packaging, pricing, usage patterns, willingness-to-pay signals, and comparable value
  • Design and run beta programs, including user selection and success criteria
  • Convert beta feedback into data-backed go/no-go decisions
  • Own product launches and relevant metrics such as adoption, retention, and revenue impact
  • Build reporting for leadership
  • Turn user feedback and post-launch data into prioritized product changes
  • Apply launch learnings to improve future launches
  • Take products from initial hypothesis through validation, pricing, beta, launch, measurement, and iteration

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience touching at least part of the arc: user research, positioning, pricing, beta programs, or launches
  • Strong analytical foundation; comfortable with SQL/Excel or equivalent
  • Ability to turn data into a decision
  • Excellent storytelling instincts
  • Ability to own the whole arc from identifying the target user to evaluating product performance
  • Rigorous quantitative analysis and persuasive storytelling
  • Bias to ship, test, and learn quickly
  • Autonomy to run with responsibilities
  • Background in product management, growth, or product marketing is nice-to-have
  • Experience with monetization or pricing strategy is nice-to-have
  • B2B SaaS or enterprise software experience is nice-to-have
