Responsibilities
Own moderately complex backend features and services in Go on GCP end-to-end from design through production with support as needed.
Write clean, tested, production-ready code and improve it when you find things that don't meet that bar
Work within data ingestion and validation workflows, learning the patterns for handling unstructured enterprise data
Participate in code review, both giving and receiving direct, constructive feedback
Contribute to infrastructure and configuration work using Terraform with support from senior engineers
Support operational work by contributing to observability tooling, documentation, and on-call preparation as you grow into the role
Requirements
3+ years of software engineering experience
Backend engineering fundamentals: data structures, APIs, databases, systems thinking
Go experience or strong experience in another statically typed language with demonstrated willingness to learn Go is a must
You write code you're not embarrassed to have reviewed: readable, tested, and thoughtfully structured
Curiosity and a methodical approach to debugging and data problems; ability to reason about systems you didn't build
GCP or cloud platform experience
Experience with or strong interest in data pipelines, validation logic, or workflow systems
Security or infrastructure domain exposure
