About the role

  • Customer Team Lead driving Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart growth for Church & Dwight’s household-care brands. Leading customer strategy, negotiations, profitability, and account-team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall customer strategy and business performance for Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart
  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans aligned with customer needs and Church & Dwight priorities
  • Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted business partner
  • Identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive execution across cross-functional teams
  • Provide strategic recommendations and business updates to senior leadership
  • Lead complex negotiations involving pricing, trade investments, innovation, assortment, promotions, and customer agreements
  • Develop commercial strategies balancing growth, profitability, and long-term customer partnerships
  • Use data-driven insights to influence customer decisions and unlock growth opportunities
  • Own the customer P&L, including sales, gross margin, trade investment, and contribution targets
  • Deliver profitable growth through pricing, promotion, assortment, and innovation strategies
  • Manage trade spending and evaluate investments and promotional programs
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing account management team
  • Set priorities, expectations, and performance standards
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and organizational capability building

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive sales, customer development, or account management experience within the CPG industry
  • Proven people leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience managing large national retail customers, preferably Loblaw and/or Shoppers Drug Mart
  • Demonstrated success delivering sales growth, profitability improvement, and strong customer outcomes
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, forecasting, trade investment, and profitability analysis
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to lead complex business initiatives from strategy through execution
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work full-time in Canada
  • Must be based in Ontario
  • Canadian work experience is not required as a condition of employment
