About the role

  • SAP QA Tester developing, executing, and maintaining test plans and scripts for software quality assurance. Delivering high-quality software products while working remotely from Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and scripts that ensure software meets system specifications.
  • Conduct various testing methodologies, including system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing, to identify and resolve defects and performance issues.
  • Analyze technical documentation to understand the functionality of new applications, ensuring they meet required standards before deployment.
  • Produce detailed reports and documentation, tracking all testing efforts and communicating progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Regularly communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
  • Develop, distribute, and coordinate thorough end-user reviews for both modified and new systems or applications, gathering feedback to enhance software quality.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in conducting various types of testing, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies, as well as a solid understanding of software development processes.
  • SAP S/4 HANA experience is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in testing SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and Financial (FI) Modules, is required.
  • Highly skilled with SAP Data Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiar with JIRA Tool.
  • 1+ years experience with SAP S/4 HANA is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document issues, track corrective actions, and provide data-driven insights for improvement.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence quality-related decisions.
  • Advanced communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new products.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, and adept in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Can effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
