About the role

  • Energy Engineering Co-Op supporting energy conservation programs and projects. Applying engineering theory to real-world projects while assisting experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the energy savings calculations for projects by applying core engineering principles, including thermodynamics, mechanics, physics, algebra, and statistics.
  • Learn about energy auditing for commercial buildings and assist engineers with energy end‑use data analysis.
  • Assist with engineering administrative tasks, including documentation control, technical writing, project reporting, scheduling, and tracking.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a post‑secondary Engineering degree (either in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s program or enrolled in a Master of Engineering program)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office , particularly Excel
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different jurisdictions in a hybrid (mostly remote) environment.
