About the role

  • Change and continuous improvement manager helping Federated Co-operatives Limited support local Co-ops. Leading organizational transformation, governance, process improvement, and specialist teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Change Management and Continuous Improvement frameworks and governance
  • Establish consistent standards, best practices, and approaches for sustainable outcomes
  • Partner with organizational leaders to assess needs, develop strategies, and advise on change readiness, organizational impacts, and process improvement opportunities
  • Deliver Change Management and Continuous Improvement solutions, tools, and expertise for complex initiatives
  • Evaluate outcomes, monitor performance, share lessons learned, and identify opportunities to strengthen organizational practices
  • Lead and develop a team of Change Management and Continuous Improvement Specialists through coaching, direction, resource allocation, and priority management
  • Work within the Strategy Execution Support team, which leads the Enterprise Portfolio and provides project management support
  • Collaborate with Strategy Support and Planning, Member Strategy Development, business leads, organizational leaders, other departments, and peers across FCL
  • Support Federated Co-operatives Limited in helping local Co-ops grow and thrive through professional services

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience in continuous improvement, change management or a related field
  • University degree in business administration, commerce or related field; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
  • Familiarity with the wholesale and retail industry
  • Experience working successfully with a variety of leadership levels and related functions
  • Certifications in Change Management and/or Continuous Improvement and experience with multiple methodologies are strong assets
  • Familiarity with the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) and the co-operative business model
  • May be required to complete a pre-employment criminal record check in accordance with FCL policies
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Saskatoon
