About the role
- Quality Assurance Technician conducting various quality checks for Coke Canada Bottling products. Responsible for testing and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the entire production process
- Perform standardized quality samplings and audits during production
- Organize collected data into electronic logbooks and databases
- Report variances and non-conformities to plant management
- Understand, monitor and act to support ISO-GFSI compliance
- Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits
- Standardize and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Analyze syrup beverage and/or water attributes
- Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in science related field preferred
- 1 - 3 years prior production/manufacturing experience OR 2+ years relevant lab technician experience
- Food/beverage industry experience a plus
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials
- Readily accepts instruction from management/supervisors
- Needs to be reliable and open to a flexible schedule
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to read, write, and keep records
- Strong computer comprehension capabilities including Excel and Word
