About the role

Principal Software Engineer developing foundational systems supporting engineering operations at Cozey. Designing and maintaining infrastructure for efficient e-commerce processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain platform services and infrastructure at the core of the COS organization
Develop internal tools, frameworks, and abstractions to improve developer experience and productivity
Evolve our cloud infrastructure (AWS), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment systems, and observability tools
Establish best practices for reliability, security, and performance
Lead initiatives around system resilience, incident response, and availability improvements
Promote adoption and standardization of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform, or similar tools)

4+ years of experience with AWS
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Pulumi)
Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) and production monitoring
Passion for improving developer experience and accelerating engineering teams
Experience with strongly-typed or object-oriented languages, such as TypeScript
