About the role
- Manager, Data Science responsible for building a robust Data Science function at Cozey. Leading projects on demand forecasting and optimization with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the Data Science roadmap aligned to company priorities
- Build and operationalize demand forecasting for multi-country, multi-channel demand
- Develop optimization and decision-support models
- Establish company-wide experimentation and causal measurement standards
- Partner with Product/Engineering to embed models into internal tools
- Measure and communicate impact: own KPIs for DS initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years in Data Science, Applied Science, Analytics, or Decision Science
- 2+ years leading or managing DS/analytics
- Deep expertise in demand forecasting and machine learning
- Working knowledge of Operations Research
- Strong Python + SQL
- Proven track record of shipping solutions that change decisions
- Strong product/engineering partnership skills
- Retail/e-commerce/supply chain/planning experience is a plus
