About the role

  • Customer Success Engineer optimizing enterprise adoption and ROI for Cyera’s AI trust and data-security platform. Driving onboarding, technical enablement, troubleshooting, and executive customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical expert on the Cyera Platform
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers from practitioners to executives
  • Drive customer adoption through onboarding and training
  • Understand customer requirements, challenges, and desired business outcomes
  • Design and deliver customized use cases using a consultative approach
  • Drive sustained adoption, customer value, and return on investment
  • Lead ongoing customer engagement and expansion
  • Identify and resolve obstacles and blockers to customer success
  • Advocate for customer feedback and influence Cyera’s roadmap and product development
  • Support customer education through self-paced training resources
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Monitor and report customer health, usage indicators, and overall well-being
  • Develop joint success plans with customers
  • Document and share best practices internally and externally
  • Mentor team members and support professional development
  • Participate in interviewing and onboarding new team members
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar experience a plus
  • 12 years experience in Strong project management skills, enabling you to effectively plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data technologies and cloud technologies, including databases, cloud infrastructure and basic administration
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python or equivalent), and hands-on experience with cloud environments
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages and familiarity with APIs and web services
  • Demonstrated expertise in DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management with hands-on experience preferred
  • Prior experience working in a software company in a technical customer-facing role is essential
  • Track record of owning customer relationships, including onboarding, renewal, and expansion
  • Prior experience collaborating with Development teams
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-starter able to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, deadline-oriented startup environment
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and customer retention
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in leading executive meetings and technical workshops
  • Ability to work autonomously and tackle intricate challenges
  • Ability to travel 25–50% annually
