About the role

Quality Assurance Engineer role focused on reviewing pallet rack engineering reports at Damotech. Hybrid position with a transition to analysis and report review after training.

Responsibilities

YOUR DAILY
Review, validate, and approve engineering inspection reports and load capacity calculations
Apply your professional engineer seal to finalized technical reports
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and Damotech’s internal quality procedures
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers
Support continuous improvement of inspection methodologies and calculation tools

YOU BRING WITH YOU
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural (preferred), Mechanical, or Building Engineering
Active Professional Engineer license (OIQ)
Engineering seal required (mandatory)
Minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
Knowledge of structural analysis and load calculations
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship
