About the role

Responsibilities
- YOUR DAILY
- Review, validate, and approve engineering inspection reports and load capacity calculations
- Apply your professional engineer seal to finalized technical reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and Damotech’s internal quality procedures
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support continuous improvement of inspection methodologies and calculation tools
Requirements
- YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural (preferred), Mechanical, or Building Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer license (OIQ)
- Engineering seal required (mandatory)
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Knowledge of structural analysis and load calculations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship
