- Flow cytometry applications manager leading Field Applications Scientists at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. Supporting customer workflows, sales growth, training, troubleshooting, and technical strategy remotely.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of Field Applications Scientists
- Support sales growth strategy and funnel acceleration through applications collaboration and value-added services
- Represent the company at conferences and workshops
- Oversee technical and scientific pre- and post-sales customer support
- Deliver presentations, demonstrations, protocol development, training, and troubleshooting
- Establish best practices, standard work, workflows, and performance metrics
- Ensure team performance accountability and compliance
- Manage departmental staffing and resource allocation
- Align product capabilities with market needs and ensure technical excellence and exceptional customer experience
Requirements
- BSc, M.Sc. or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related life science discipline
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in flow cytometry
- Experience in applications, technical support, or field-based scientific role preferred
- Ability to travel up to 85% overnight travel
- Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Field Applications Management and/or Field Applications Management in Flow Cytometry is a plus
- Clinical Flow Cytometry experience is a plus
