About the role
- Project QHSE Engineer ensuring health and safety standards on international offshore sites. Collaborating with teams and promoting a strong safety culture through proactive engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams with risk assessments, Safety & Environmental audits, and incident investigations.
- Promote a strong QHSE culture on offshore sites through toolbox talks, inductions, coaching and daily engagement.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with QHSE regulations, industry standards and DEME procedures.
- Contribute to safety campaigns, training initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Collect, analyze and report QHSE data to support decision-making and highlight key risks.
- Maintain close communication with the QHSE department and relevant project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or a QHSE-related field.
- Genuine passion for safety and environmental protection.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on mindset.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a sense of initiative.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Willing to travel worldwide and work in a rotational offshore schedule.
