About the role

  • Property Appraisal Dispatch Technician assisting the Claims team with administrative and operational support. Optimizing property appraisal processes and ensuring service quality objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Claims team
  • Maximize operational productivity and profitability by adapting procedures and equipment
  • Optimize internal productivity capacity property appraisal activities and operations
  • Participate directly in achieving the department’s service quality objectives
  • Serve as a technical collaborator and provide discipline-specific support for your unit’s activities, initiatives and processes
  • Tailor your approach as needed to solve technical problems
  • Help develop and improve methods and procedures
  • Receive and distribute home insurance appraisal files
  • Assign mandates to appraisers based on their workload and expertise
  • Contact clients to schedule appointments and optimize appraiser routes based on the location of the files
  • Analyze the team’s operational capabilities and communicate issues or challenges, as applicable
  • Use work tools such as Outlook and Excel for daily capacity management
  • Work with specialized systems, including XactAnalysis, the register, and occasionally the INDM system
  • Help practitioners follow your unit’s processes and use its business solutions, tools and systems
  • Help support the continuous improvement of your unit’s activities.

Requirements

  • General college diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of the INDM system
