Responsibilities
- Actively participate in establishing and facilitating the implementation of the quality strategy for business solutions
- Responsible for the activities that lead to the implementation of and compliance with the components of an integrated software quality approach
- Prepare and ensure the execution, in collaboration with the whole development teams, of the complete tests planned to ensure the quality of the changes made to the systems
- Share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills, extensive knowledge of your line of business and ability to manage complexity
- Support your fellow quality specialists and other members of the development team in their quality-related tasks, according to their role
- Interact with stakeholders working in other technology fields
- Identify opportunities for quality process improvement within the team
- Collaborate with architects, developers and analysts to identify and optimize automation efforts and recommend solutions
- Leverage your skills to swiftly identify and resolve anomalies throughout the development process
- Ensure root causes are identified, and permanent solutions are implemented for production issues
- Target and optimize testing efforts in high-risk areas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- A valid insurance license
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Proficiency with distribution operation policies and procedures
- Proficiency with in-house and other computer systems (Vent, Prov, Ajusto, PCS, Microsoft suite JIRA, Confluence,)
- Knowledge of testing principles and methodologies
