About the role

Senior business strategy advisor shaping complex strategic initiatives at Desjardins financial cooperative. Advising leaders, analyzing business performance, and developing policies, models, and solutions.

Responsibilities

Advise clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support the unit’s strategic projects and initiatives
Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
Represent Desjardins’s position when making agreements with external partners and organizations
Develop plans and business intelligence
Monitor business plans and performance
Set targets
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery
Design and deliver business strategies and solutions aligned with the business architecture of various initiatives
Lead complex and innovative development projects and strategic initiatives
Make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives
Serve as specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience
Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
