About the role
- HVAC Technician responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems. Ensuring high customer satisfaction and performing minor electrical work.
Responsibilities
- PM and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and components
- Respond to and perform emergency and preventative maintenance with detailed reports and strong customer service
- Strong drive for customer satisfaction
- Recover, recycle, store, and dispose of refrigerants according to environmental regulations.
- Perform minor electrical repairs (controls, contactors, motors, wiring)
- Perform preventative maintenance programs on equipment
- Ability to price and scope out reactive repairs and small projects
Requirements
- 5 years' work experience in HVAC field
- G Driver’s license with clean abstract (required)
- Gas Fitters G1 or G2 (G1 Preferred)
- 313A Journeyman Refrigeration/ HVAC (required)
- Strong BAS controls background to navigate, diagnose and repair BAS systems will be an asset.
- Experience with Installation of HVAC related equipment will be an asset
- Fall Protection (preferred)
- Confined Space (preferred)
- Elevated Work Platform (preferred)
- Lock out Tag Out Qualification (preferred)
