About the role
- Project Manager delivering Shopify Plus ecommerce projects for ehouse Studio, a Shopify-focused commerce agency. Coordinating distributed teams, budgets, timelines, resources, and client delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets with stakeholders
- Manage change orders and upsell opportunities throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Coordinate and allocate resources across projects
- Drive billable utilization and address under-utilized resources
- Manage unbillable project investment and ensure resources are billed appropriately
- Maintain communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Monitor progress, identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues
- Ensure adherence to company processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Manage project documentation, status reports, meeting notes, and action items
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and productive team environment
- Facilitate scope definition with the internal production team, including client requirements and deliverables
- Create and maintain detailed project plans
- Coordinate tasks, assign resources, and ensure task completion
- Manage production-team workflow, including standups and sidebar meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to solve problems and brainstorm solutions
- Manage schedules for internal and client-facing meetings
- Develop understanding of client businesses, processes, and procedures to support project success
- Apply best practices and lessons learned, sharing findings with team members
- Build and update bi-weekly reporting, scorecard dashboards, and KPIs
- Prepare and send scheduled reports to clients and internal teams
- Perform other work as assigned based on business needs
Requirements
- 3+ years' Project Management experience
- 3+ years' client-facing experience, ideally with leadership and C-suite teams
- Proven experience with Shopify Plus required
- Proven experience and success managing multiple projects across distributed teams
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with an emphasis on Agile process
- Asana experience preferred
- Experience with resource planning tools preferred
- Agency experience managing multiple projects and relationships preferred
