About the role
- Project Manager orchestrating AI-first resource planning, client delivery and internal transformation projects. Datmos delivers data-driven eCommerce strategy, digital experience and technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Delivery Director
- Assign resources from Datmos teams to client and internal projects, balancing priorities, skills and available capacity
- Build stable, dedicated teams for key clients based on language, platform expertise and certifications
- Maintain a 3-month view of capacity and workload and flag staffing needs and gaps early
- Track utilization against Operations targets
- Own delivery plans, schedules, risks and staffing for a portfolio of client projects
- Forecast remaining effort on fixed-price projects and flag variances to account leadership
- Work with product owners leading client requirements and acceptance to keep delivery on track
- Apply the delivery practice and share lessons learned to help it evolve
- Lead internal initiatives involving tooling, processes and AI adoption from scoping to close-out
- Keep stakeholders aligned and report progress and risks to the Delivery Director
- Use AI assistants and agents daily to plan capacity, spot risks early and draft status reports, reviewing their output
- Maintain shared AI workflows, playbooks and templates and bring improvement ideas to the Director
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience, including PMO, portfolio management or resource planning, ideally in an agency or digital professional services firm
- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (LLM assistants, agents, automations) in daily work, with concrete examples of improved workflows
- Proven experience allocating resources across multiple teams and arbitrating between competing priorities
- Experience leading internal or organizational transformation projects spanning several departments
- Comfortable with planning and tracking tools such as Jira, Forecast or Float, and advanced spreadsheets
- Experience analyzing KPIs including utilization, capacity and profitability
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum
- Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken
- PMP, PMI-ACP or PSM certification — an asset
- Experience with automation, data or scripting such as SQL, Python, Zapier or similar workflow tools, AI workflows — an asset
- Knowledge of the eCommerce ecosystem, including Magento, Shopify, commercetools, Akeneo, PIM, DAM and ERP — an asset
- Excellent communication, influence-without-authority and negotiation skills
