About the role
- Senior Project Manager leading SAP, Workday, data, security, and integration transformations for ADGA’s Canadian government client. Managing governance, delivery, onboarding, and enterprise modernization projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close enterprise transformation projects
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, work plans, and governance documentation
- Define project scope, objectives, assumptions, constraints, and success criteria
- Monitor schedule, cost, scope, and quality performance
- Coordinate project resources and dependencies across teams and stakeholders
- Escalate risks, issues, and decisions to governance bodies
- Develop project charters, business cases, project plans, decision records, and status reports
- Support project gating, executive reviews, and governance activities
- Prepare executive briefings, presentations, dashboards, and reporting materials
- Maintain project documentation in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Report project performance, milestones, risks, and financial status to Platform and Service Delivery leadership
- Assist with backlog review and prioritization
- Define work packages, deliverables, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate complexity assessments and level-of-effort estimations
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and costing
- Monitor delivery against approved work packages and project baselines
- Coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, service providers, and governance bodies
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, working groups, and steering committees
- Support departmental onboarding activities and readiness assessments
- Manage stakeholder communications and engagement plans
- Coordinate SAP enhancement, implementation, integration, roadmap, reporting, analytics, and onboarding initiatives when assigned
- Coordinate Workday onboarding and implementation projects, standardized service templates, training, user adoption, and transition activities when assigned
- Coordinate SAP, Workday, and Government of Canada enterprise system activities across streams
Requirements
- Must be located in Canada
- Must currently hold a valid Secret Government Security Clearance held with PSPC
- Must have a PMP Certificate
- Minimum of 10 years performing similar project management tasks
- Minimum of 2 projects valued at more than $5 million, each with teams of 20 or more resources
- Experience providing project reporting to senior management, steering committees, or executive governance bodies
- Experience leading complex, multi-faceted projects
- Well versed in Agile methodologies
- SAP Financial Systems experience
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- Financial transformation experience leading enterprise financial information initiatives involving business process redesign and modernization
- Data migration and integration experience managing SAP projects
- Minimum of 2 projects involving implementation, transformation, upgrade, migration, or modernization of enterprise financial management systems
- Relevant projects must include one or more of: financial reporting; planning and budgeting; financial controls; cost management
- Previous experience managing similar projects with Shared Services Canada considered a strong asset
