About the role

  • Inside Sales Advisor selling Embark education savings products to Canadian families. Managing outbound prospecting, full-cycle sales, Salesforce pipelines, and client onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through high-volume outbound calls, inbound follow-ups, and digital outreach
  • Convert leads into clients using consultative selling and close new business
  • Own the full sales pipeline from prospecting through follow-up and close using Salesforce
  • Build urgency and credibility through strategic messaging and objection handling
  • Become a subject matter expert on Embark’s digital tools and guide prospects through offerings
  • Engage leads via phone, video conferencing, and email
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to improve conversion rates and the sales process
  • Deliver a strong client experience from first contact through onboarding
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Manage lead flow, ensure timely follow-ups, and maintain accurate reporting
  • Stay current on market trends and product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions
  • Participate in training, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Ensure client interactions comply with regulatory standards and Embark’s Code of Conduct
  • Support operational improvements and process enhancements
  • Share insights, support colleagues, and contribute to a performance and inclusion culture

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales success, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong cold calling and outbound sales experience, including objection handling and closing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred
  • Proficiency with digital tools for virtual selling
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with or eagerness to learn about financial products and services
  • Growth mindset and comfort with change, feedback, and evolving priorities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  • Provincial licensing recognized by the RESP Dealers Association of Canada is a preferred asset, not a required prerequisite
