About the role
- Online Tutor teaching NEET and IIT-JEE subjects for Grades 9-12. Conducting live classes and ensuring student engagement in a remote setup.
Responsibilities
- Teach live online classes via Zoom
- Teach Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology based on your expertise
- Ensure strong concept clarity and problem-solving approach (JEE/NEET level)
- Adapt teaching methods based on student level (Foundation to Advanced)
- Conduct interactive sessions using quizzes, discussions, and problem-solving
- Maintain clarity, energy, and engagement during classes
- Track student progress and identify weak areas
- Share session summaries within 8 hours of the class
- Assign practice questions and homework
- Provide regular performance feedback to students and parents
- Maintain high student ratings
- Ensure punctuality and avoid no-shows
- Contribute to student retention and learning outcomes
Requirements
- Graduation or Post-graduation in a relevant field such as B.Sc, B.E / B.Tech, M.Sc, MBBS, or equivalent
- Strong academic background in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology
- Proficiency in at least one subject: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology
- Teaching experience must be relevant to the subject applied for
- Strong conceptual understanding (NCERT + advanced level for JEE/NEET)
- Well-versed in the latest teaching methods and course curriculum
- 1 to 5+ years of teaching experience preferred
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent demo performance can apply
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner
- Good command over English with clear and fluent communication
- Ability to create interactive and student-friendly learning environments
- High energy levels and strong student engagement skills
- Interest in exploring innovative and effective teaching methods
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow continuously
- Passion for teaching and improving student outcomes
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and similar software
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom
- Comfortable using digital tools like whiteboards, tablets, or touch devices
- Ability to handle basic technical setup independently
- Comfortable using devices such as laptops/desktops, microphones, webcams, and digital writing tools
- Ability to conduct sessions in a quiet and distraction-free environment
