About the role

Senior Project Manager implementing Equisoft’s cloud insurance policy administration software. Managing client-facing projects, teams, budgets, risks, and delivery quality.

Responsibilities

Reports to the Director of Projects and works closely with 7 to 10 team members, including Business Analysts, Architects, Configurators, and QA
Identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions to optimize business processes and workflow
Identifies, plans, and manages the development and implementation stages of assigned projects
Evaluates tasks and identifies human, financial, and material resource requirements
Monitors project progress, timelines, budgets, and deliverable quality standards
Assists customers during project definition and collects and summarizes information
Participates in preliminary analysis and coordinates activities required for project approval
Plans, monitors, and controls scope, risks, costs, change requests, outstanding issues, human resources, and communications
Leads and coordinates project teams and assists staff in completing tasks
Promotes interaction and cooperation between customers and project teams
Maintains project management indicators and controls related change requests
Works on Equisoft/Manage, a cloud SaaS Policy Administration System for insurance operations

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
10-15 years of experience of IT or finance project management
PMP and/or Scrum Master certification or equivalent
Experience in Project Development Cycle Management
Experience in client-facing project, not just internal initiatives
Experience in implementation project of CRM and/or ERP
Very good knowledge of Web Technologies/Environment
Knowledge of the Agile methodology
Available for occasional travel
Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries (asset)
Excellent verbal and written skills in both French and English
Strong sense of organization and prioritizing
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline
