About the role
- Senior Solutions Engineer helping Grafana Labs sell its open-source observability platform in Canada. Leading technical customer engagements, presentations, evaluations, and Sales partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Join an early high-growth team solving technical and customer problems
- Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy
- Own technical customer engagements and help close high-velocity opportunities
- Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide product and competitive feedback
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems
- Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge-base articles, and create enablement materials
Requirements
- Ideally located in Canada
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space
- Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership
- Ability to work and collaborate with an international team in a remote-first environment
- First-class written and oral communication skills
- Ability to articulate the company value proposition and technical product advantages
- Ability to solve technical challenges and create customer solutions
- Technical mindset and desire to grow technically
- Recent coding bootcamp graduate, or previous post-sales or engineering experience, welcomed
- Self-motivated, proactive, and creative
