Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and resources
- Implement monitoring solutions for performance, availability, and health
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
- Implement automation tools for efficient deployment and management
- Manage access controls for cloud infrastructure
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Monitor cloud expenditure and implement cost-control strategies
- Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams
- Monitor and implement alert strategies for cloud infrastructure
- Take ownership of cloud infrastructure projects
- Develop thorough documentation and diagrams to explain complex systems
- Guide and develop junior cloud engineers
- Participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
- At least 8 years in cloud computing, proficient in AWS
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Background in SaaS with experience across multiple product lines
- Extensive experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-native tools like CloudFormation, ARM, and Terraform
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, Lambda
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, Bash
- Git operations and version control experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps
- Proficient in CDN technologies and offerings
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
