About the role

  • RevOps Analyst optimizing pricing, discounts, and AI-driven revenue processes at EXFO, a telecommunications test-solutions company. Supporting cross-functional Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update standardized pricing structures for Focus Accounts.
  • Analyze pricing deviations and recommend corrective actions to maintain margin integrity.
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Managers on Focus Account classifications and periodic pricing reviews.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of the discount management framework.
  • Monitor discount usage across regions and segments, identifying trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to Sales Leadership to improve discount discipline and profitability.
  • Maintain documentation of pricing policies, discount rules, approval workflows, and revenue processes.
  • Analyze price elasticity, margin impact, deal cycle efficiency, and forecast reliability.
  • Collaborate to optimize deal structure and price lists.
  • Feed, test, and monitor AI-based pricing optimization tools.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and IT teams to refine algorithms, integrate data sources, and enhance predictive capabilities.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
  • Identify inefficiencies in pricing, quoting, and revenue workflows and propose scalable improvements.
  • Support training and enablement initiatives.
  • Contribute to CRM team activities, including data quality, user support, process consistency, and system improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Pricing, Business Analytics, or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Snowflake).
  • Experience with SAP ERP, CRM platforms and pricing tools.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and communicate complex insights clearly.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and seek feedback in a fast-paced environment.
