About the role
- QA Analyst II at EXFO validating testing systems for photonic integrated circuits in a hybrid work model. Collaborating with R&D to execute complex testing plans for high-quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Design and document manual test cases to validate new features and product behavior
- Execute tests on PIC and CTP10 stations, which include a wide range of laboratory instruments (lasers, optical sensors, motion controllers, signal generators, etc.)
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and integration teams to fully understand features and ensure adequate test coverage
- Identify, document, and track defects or unexpected behaviors using bug-tracking tools
- Create and maintain clear, reusable documentation to support future quality assurance activities
- Contribute to product knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
- Degree or training in electronics, optics, instrumentation, computer science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a laboratory testing or quality assurance role involving execution of manual tests
- Proficiency in French and ability to read and write technical English
