About the role

Environmental Engineer or Geologist conducting environmental assessments for public and private clients. Collaborating with teams on sustainable solutions in Montreal or Laval.

Responsibilities

Conduct environmental site assessments and environmental characterizations (Phases I, II and III)
Be partially assigned to municipal projects
Manage environmental monitoring mandates during rehabilitation works
Carry out environmental monitoring and follow-ups
Prepare technical reports and associated documentation
Participate in the preparation of service proposals and work programs
Contribute to the preparation of technical plans and specifications
Plan and coordinate field/site work
Provide technical support to the team’s professionals and technicians
Perform any other duties related to the position

Bachelor’s degree in geology, civil engineering, geological engineering or equivalent training
Member of the OGQ or the OIQ
Membership in the AQVE is an asset
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Good knowledge of environmental standards and regulations (RPRT, RVMR, Intervention Guide – MELCC)
Interest in fieldwork, as required
Versatility and interest in varied projects
ASP certification (health and safety on construction sites)
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site travel
Team player with rigor and dynamism
