About the role

  • Ingénieur chargé de projet dans la conception d’ouvrages d'art au sein d’EXP. Gérer des projets complexes et piloter des équipes d’ingénieurs et de techniciens.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in project delivery; meet with clients and coordinate team activities with other disciplines.
  • Manage budgets and resources allocated to each assignment.
  • Ensure rigorous administrative management of projects and assume responsibility for them (billing, collections, contract management, etc.).
  • Participate in design and the preparation of drawings and specifications.
  • Supervise deliverables (reports, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, schedules).
  • Contribute to the preparation of service proposals and work plans.
  • Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues, clients, partner contractors, key suppliers, and subcontractor representatives.
  • Perform any other duties related to the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Minimum of 7 years' professional experience in bridges and structural works.
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) and the Société des Ponts Jacques-Cartier et Champlain Incorporée (PJCCI).
  • Strong analytical skills, leadership, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to build professional networks and manage work teams.
