About the role

Senior Electrical Engineer in building design contributing to diverse electrical projects at EXP in Saint-Hyacinthe. Collaborating with teams to oversee project quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee the production of electrical drawings and specifications in compliance with applicable standards.
Conduct technical surveys and supervise on-site construction work.
Contribute to the drafting, analysis and review of technical studies.
Ensure the quality of deliverables, adherence to schedules and the compliance of project documentation.
Assist with cost estimating and the preparation of project budgets.
Participate in coordination meetings with other disciplines.
Ensure compliance with EXP quality standards, applicable codes and contractual requirements.
Keep professional knowledge up to date regarding standards, technologies and best practices.
Mentor and support more junior team members as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
More than 10 years of experience in building electrical design, ideally in engineering consulting.
Licensed member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec as a fully qualified Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
Strong action- and results-orientation and problem-solving skills in dynamic, demanding environments while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
