About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for strategic material and service categories
- Lead supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams, as well as strategic suppliers, on the development of new components
- Negotiate supplier agreements and ensure compliance regarding manufacturing lead times, cost structures, raw material fluctuations, and exchange rates
- Manage the parts portfolio budget and continuously update standard costs
- Analyze market trends, monitor cost developments, and implement cost-reduction initiatives
Requirements
- Relevant experience or education in procurement, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is essential
- Proficiency in Spanish is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Windows environments and SAP
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
