About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for strategic material and service categories.
- Lead supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and strategic suppliers on the development of new components.
- Negotiate and ensure compliance with supplier agreements regarding manufacturing lead times, cost structures, raw material fluctuations, and exchange rates.
- Manage the parts portfolio budget and update standard costs.
- Analyze market trends, monitor cost developments, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant experience or education in procurement, administration, engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is essential.
- Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows environments and SAP.
- Excellent organizational and priority-management skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work effectively as part of a team.
