Responsibilities
Support the design, implementation, configuration, and operation of cloud-based data and analytics platforms
Contribute to provisioning platforms for analytics, reporting, and data science teams using infrastructure-as-code tools and automated processes
Monitor platform health, availability, and performance; respond to alerts and user issues; and escalate complex questions
Identify failures and troubleshoot issues to minimize service disruptions and ensure platform stability
Document the current and target states of platform configurations, processes, and controls
Lead and support platform testing and quality assurance
Collect and analyze operational and usage information to diagnose issues and improve services
Apply architecture, security, and operational standards
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and configuration issues by reporting risks and incidents
Contribute to lifecycle management to ensure platform security, compliance, and suitability
Collaborate with product owners, engineers, architects, and other technical teams in Agile environments
Educate users about approved services, standards, and best practices
Document procedures, manuals, standards, and lessons learned
Support communications related to data and analytics platform capabilities, processes, and updates
Research and propose incremental technical improvements
Develop technical, operational, and collaborative skills through hands-on experience, coaching, and training
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in an IT systems administration, platform support, or related technical role in a similar field
Experience with IT service management, such as incident, change, and request management
Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Knowledge of deployment management, automation, and configuration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), Git)
