About the role

Responsibilities
- Serve as the highest-level support resource during small-scale security incidents and contribute to major incident management
- Analyze impacts, collaborate with solution owners or technology leads, and update relevant documentation
- Contribute to the evolution and continuous improvement of technology components from a security perspective
- Design and document the application of security controls to the client’s digital assets
- Analyze security files, impact assessments, risk assessments, and technical documentation to identify risks, threats, and required controls
- Create, maintain, and enhance security fact sheets and security configuration sheets
- Ensure that security architecture requirements are addressed, or document deviations and their rationale
- Harden technology solutions and verify the implementation of security elements in testing, development, and, when applicable, production environments
- Participate in meetings, workshops, implementation committees, and operational startup activities
- Oversee changes to technology components and tools and support project and operations teams
- Transfer expertise to resources applying security fact sheets or carrying out operational procedures
- Lead and evolve assigned security solutions and maintain documentation, procedures, guides, standards, and policies
- Identify automation opportunities; develop or update scripts, programs, and automated processes; test them; and document their use
- Ensure compliance with security roles and responsibilities and apply identity and access management best practices
- Report vulnerabilities, propose process improvements, and recommend better practices for collaboration between teams
- Prepare documentation, impact assessments, security advisories, targeted audits, or training as required
- Transfer expertise to designated internal resources
Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of information technology experience delivering digital security or cybersecurity mandates
- Within the past four (4) years, completed at least three (3) mandates of at least 60 person-days each involving the analysis, implementation, or maintenance of security elements related to Windows and/or Linux components
- Within the past four (4) years, completed at least one mandate of at least 60 person-days involving the implementation or maintenance of security controls
- Programmed a minimum of five (5) components using PowerShell within the past four (4) years
- Within the past four (4) years, completed at least two security mandates of at least 60 person-days each in the specified technology environments
- Experience with Windows Server 2019 or later and Windows 10/11 or later workstations
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with virtualization and server administration environments, including Hyper-V and Terminal Services
- Experience with SCOM, SCCM, and MDT tools
- Experience with Linux, including access management, hardening, auditing, and logging
- Experience with identity, access, and privileged access management technologies
- Knowledge of encryption, cryptography, PKI, PGP, and certificates
- Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud environments
- Knowledge of enterprise technologies used in large-scale environments, including SAP and related security tools when applicable
