Equipment Operator maintaining roadways, surfaces, and various construction projects for Ferrovial. Operating vehicles and equipment for repair and maintenance, ensuring quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair highway surfaces including signs, guardrails, and potholes
Operate vehicles and equipment for maintenance and repair
Remove snow and ice using snow removal equipment
Set up and remove traffic control as needed
Transport crew and equipment to work sites
Available for emergency response rotations as needed
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years related work experience in construction, road maintenance, or highway infrastructure (preferred)
Valid Ontario Class DZ driver’s license or higher
Successful completion of training in traffic control methods, first aid, and WHMIS
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
