About the role
- Senior iOS Developer building and evolving the FortiClient iOS app for enterprise users. Designing, developing, and maintaining key features using Swift and Objective-C in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade features for the FortiClient iOS app using Swift and Objective-C
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to network stability, performance, and threading
- Collaborate with backend teams and integrate FortiClient iOS with other Fortinet solutions
- Mentor junior developers, lead technical design, and perform code reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of iOS development experience
- Expert proficiency in both Swift and Objective-C
- Experience with SwiftUI and the Combine framework
- Solid, hands-on knowledge of networking and security
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and TLS
- Strong knowledge of iOS Security APIs
- Knowledge of the iOS Network Extension framework is a plus
- Knowledge of MDM systems is a plus
- Knowledge of performance tools such as Instruments and Power Profiler is a plus
