Speech Language Pathologist managing caseloads using clinically accepted procedures for children and youth at Fraser Valley Child Development Centre. Collaborating with families and professionals to determine services based on family goals.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of caseload management using clinically accepted procedures to assess, plan and carry out speech-language programs either directly or through training caregivers and support staff
Work collaboratively with children’s families and other professionals (including OT, PT, Infant & Child Development Consultants, Key workers and more) to determine the best array and intensity of services for children based on the goals of their families
Deliver services to a wide range of children and youth aged birth to 18 years across several FVCDC programs, in homes, community settings, private schools and in offices
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working with children and youth
Previous experience working in public or private schools and indigenous communities is an asset
Access to a reliable vehicle and a class 5 driver's license
